I don't feel guilty about it, but I watch a LOT of reality TV... Big Brother, LA Ink, Bad Girls Club, Hell's Kitchen. oh, and Army Wives, which is absolutely terrible, but I can't help it, I'm hooked.

I am not the right person to ask about "current" trends, but I love high waisted flare jeans. and feathers. basically, the 70's.

I would love to learn how to be a millionaire. ha!

{seven} what type of food is your favorite (ex. italian, mexican, etc.)

lately, I've been loving Mexican, but overall, I think I probably love American the most. burgers and fries win my heart.

I've never owned a mac, so HP it is.

it's tan. specifically, Oat Straw by Behr.

honestly? sex. sorry family. :)

{one} what was one thing that you valued when you were a kid?money. much different than most families these days, we weren't given "allowance" for doing nothing. in order to have money to spend, we had to keep our rooms clean, help out around the house, and make sure our homework was always done. I have worked for the money I have since I was a kid, and therefore I value it much more than most. 
{two} what was your favorite (+ lease favorite) subject in school?I hated math, but loved art, history & science.
{three} do you remember your first love?of course!
{four} what one pet would you love to have?I think it's safe to say that I would love to have any animal as a pet. 
{five} would you rather live in the country or in the city?country. I hate city traffic. I like being away from the hustle and bustle. luckily, we're close enough to the "city" that we don't have to travel far for things we need. 
{six} what do you love about blogging?having a way to keep a journal of sorts of everything going on in my life at the moment, keeping in touch with friends and family, and making connections with other people who have similar interests.

{nine} what is your favorite scent of candle/air freshener?I love Midsummer's Night by Yankee Candle, and Lucky In Love by Scentsy.
{ten} how would you describe your style?uhh, I don't know. I guess kind of casual eclectic. I wear what I think is comfortable... sometimes it's in style and sometimes it's not. I don't put too much effort into it honestly. I'm happy most days in a summer dress and sandals.

{two} how many best friends do you have?I have three best friends: Sean, Kaley, and Kaycie.
{three} what’s the longest road trip you’ve ever taken?a friend from high school & I took a road trip to Savannah, Georgia to take a tour of SCAD when we were 17, which took about 12 hours total. 
{four} if you had to do one single thing every day for the next year, what would it be?tell my husband I love him. mawwww. 
{five} what’s one story your family always tells about you?ugh... my dad always tells people about the time when I was in my crib (maybe a year old?) and I pooped in my diaper. and then I dug it out and played with it. and wiped it all over myself. and the walls. 
{six} how did your parents pick your name?I'm not sure. all I know is that my dad wanted to name me Candace (so he could call me Candy) and I am very grateful that my mom won that argument. 
{seven} what’s the one thing that scares you more than anything?losing someone I love. 
{eight} are you a good cook?sometimes. I can fuck up a recipe pretty well too though.
{nine} where do you see yourself in 20 years?happy and successful.
{ten} what’s your best childhood memory?spending time in Virginia every summer with my grandparents and my cousins. we had the best time together growing up, and I hope our kids will be close like that one day.

{four} if you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what would it be?I really like being 25, so let's go with that.
{five} when you have 30 minutes of free time, what do you use it to do?read! sadly, I haven't had any lately, so my books are lonely and neglected.
{six} what do you miss the most about being a kid?The lack of responsibility. That’s the only thing that semi-sucks about being an adult. I wish I could go back to not having to worry about things. <---- this, exactly. also, summer vacation.
{seven} when was the last time you were nervous?when I got pulled over last week. luckily, I drove away with a warning.
{eight} what was the first thing you bough with your own money when you were young?probably toys or candy with my birthday money.

{one} what color best describes you + why?uh, I'm not sure I'd use a color to describe me. how does that even work?
{two} how have you changed in the past year?I'd say the biggest change I've made in the last year is really raising my standards with my friendships. I was always a big people pleaser, but I've learned that it's not always the best idea to try and make everyone happy. I've become much more selective in choosing people to play significant roles in my life.
{three} have you ever had any surgeries?nothing serious - wisdom teeth removal, fixed a broken nose.
{four} why did you start your blog?I honestly don't know, haha. I guess I just wanted a place to track my ideas and my life. I like to look back on where I was a certain point. makes for a fun scrapbook of sorts. :)
{five} what are you looking forward to this summer?spending time with friends, our anniversary (2 years!) vacation, throwing a baby sprinkle for one of my best friends, the arrival of said baby, possibly camping at the end of summer, and wedding planning with my other best. :)
{six} do you have any family traditions for the 4th of July?nah, not really. we usually spend it with friends. 
{seven} what’s something new that you’ve tried in the past few months?growing my own herbs - and it's awesome! 
{eight} what is the perfect a/c temperature?I like it a little warmer than most - 72 is perfection. 
{nine} what was the last movie you saw in the theater?uhhh... crap. I don't remember. it's been a while, obviously, and truthfully, I HATE going to the movies. it's way overpriced and I'd rather be comfortable on my couch than have a bunch of tweens kicking my seat and texting/talking the whole time.

{two} are you more of a talker or more of a listener? definitely a talker. I've been called motor-mouth on more than one occasion. I'm okay with that. 

 

{three} would you rather get up early or sleep late? sleep in late, for sure. the alarm clock is my arch nemesis.

{four} if you could instantly become an expert at one type of dance, what type would you choose? swing dancing would be fucking cool.

{two} what is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?get lost in a good book.
{three} what does your dream house look like?I seriously can't answer that question. I want a waterfront beach bungalow, a log cabin in the woods, an ancient Victorian, and a classic farm house with a wrap around porch.

{five} do you have a change jar? if so, what do you use it for when it gets full?haha, this is funny because Sean JUST BOUGHT a change jar that counts coins for you when you drop it in. it's the most ridiculous purchase he's ever made. we cash that shit in when it gets full.

I think it's pretty fitting.
{three} how far do you commute to work?50 miles total (25 miles to and from).
{four} are your earlobes attached or detached?uhh they are attached to my ears?
{five} do you eat the unpopped kernels of popcorn at the bottom of the bag?I used to, but I'm quite fond of taking care of my teeth, so I don't anymore.
{six} what is the strangest gift you’ve ever received?oh geez. not really strange, but more so useless - my grandmother would buy me earrings for Christmas every single year growing up, even though my ears weren't pierced.

{two} have you ever ridden on an elephant?yes! at Disney when I was just a little girl.
{three} have you ever met a well known celebrity?yeah, a few here and there. I mean I haven't sat down and had dinner with anyone or anything, but typical meet & greet stuff.

{five} do you know how to sew?I sure don't... that's what they make hot glue for. aaand that's what I have Kaley for.
{six} did you get an allowance when you were young?ha! no way. I did chores in order to have the privilege of a social life outside of school and home. and chores didn't mean cleaning my own room or setting the table... it meant cleaning the house, cooking dinner, doing everyone's laundry, etc.

{one} how often do you do laundry?once a week or every two weeks if I'm feeling lazy. I literally did like 14 loads of laundry last weekend.

{one} what is one food that, as an adult you love, but as a child you said you’d never touch?oh man, there are SO many. I was such a picky eater as a child. the first one that comes to mind is asparagus. I used to think it was gross, but now I love it.
{two} did you go to college? if yes, what was your major?I went to college for 3 years straight out of high school, took a 4 year break, and now I'm enrolled in college again. my major is interior design. 
{three} what’s the most wild animal you’ve seen in real life (not counting the zoo)?uhhh no idea, I'm drawing a blank. 
{four} have you ever been to a fortune teller?yes I have.
{five} can you juggle?hmm, kind of. I have to get into a rhythm.
{six} hardwood floors or carpet?hardwood, for sure.

{eight} what was your first car?the first car I ever drove was a 1996 Nissan Sentra. that thing was awesome, and continued to run up until last year, and that's only because my dad decided he didn't want to pay the insurance on it anymore.

{ten} how often do you rearrange your furniture?hardly ever anymore. our furniture is way too big to be rearranging all the time. I used to do it every few weeks when I was a kid though... that's how I knew I wanted to study interior design. :)

{two} when was the last time you listened to a CD?uh, this morning, haha. I don't even own an ipod... is that weird? I actually got 4 new CDs for Christmas. haha when I asked Sean for CDs, he said "CD? what's that?" asshole.
