first of all, I want to reach out to every single one of you who commented on my sappy post yesterday and give you each a big giant bear hug. and a high five. and a beer. thank you so, so, SO much for your kind and encouraging words. it's amazing how you can make such wonderful and thoughtful friends through your own little corner of the web.

I know, I know, I can't believe it either. I wrote my itty bitty introductory first post one year ago today. it's been such a fun year sharing my life (sometimes, a little TOO much) with you guys. also, including this post, I've written 305 posts in one year. that's almost one post a day! apparently, I either have way too much time on my hands, or 

I really, really, really like you all. 

you guys have stuck it out with me... 

while I obsessed about my wedding photos through a little series called Wedding Wednesday, 

as I struggled with the decision to go back to school, 

and encouraged me when I let go of a friendship, 

congratulated me when I quit smoking for good (it's been 3 months, holla!), 

and when I got tired of being fat & took my first spin class, 

through all my dreaming of good lookin' homes & cool shit on etsy, 

while I picked up photography as a new hobby and learned to LOVE the shit out of it, 

when I made the decision to start trying for a family,

and comforted me through my sad days, 

and participated in my first (and only, to date) giveaway, 

and all kinds of other random posts.

I wish I could do something incredibly special today to thank you all for sticking with me, like a giveaway or something, but I'm lame. and broke. 

I honestly feel such a connection with my blogging friends, and I'm so thankful to have this outlet to turn to and people to confide in. 

since I can't actually give you anything, I'm just shouting a big ol
