fill in the blank Friday!

join Lauren and lots of other cool kids over here

1.   Holiday spirit   makes me giddy. I love that [most] people are happy and generous for no other reason than the fact that the holiday season is here. I don't know what it is about the holidays, but it either makes people extremely sweet or incredibly grumpy.

2.  The holidays are incomplete without   family, holiday tunes, laughter, and egg nog.

3.  My favorite things to do around the holidays is   drink hot chocolate [with extra marshmallows] while wrapping gifts for those I love. corny, yes, but I really do enjoy finding the perfect gift to give. and we all know how obsessed I am with wrapping.

4.  A holiday tradition my family and I have is   playing the "steal-a-gift" game. it's always funny to see how people react to some gifts! last year I bought lottery tickets and they were a huge hit... I don't know how I'll top it this year! also, my mom used to let us open one gift on Christmas Eve, and that was always my favorite tradition... it's something I can't wait to pass on to my kids one day.

5.  Holiday music is   fun, depending on the song. :)

6.  This year, I'll be spending the holidays   with a whole bunch of awesome people! we will celebrate with my mom's side of the family, my dad's side of the family, and my in-laws all within 48 hours!

7.  Holiday wish list  : a stationery lens for my camera, lots of new books to read, some Skins & Caps gear, cognac riding boots, home decor (as always), and cute jewelry.

  1. Hi darlin! I'm back!! :D Check my blog in a couple hours and I'll explain my "m.i.a." ness from this week ;)

BUT --> I also love giving the best gifts :) I would rather shop for other people than for myself! And in Germany it's tradition to not get any gifts out and under the tree until Christmas Eve and so I LOVE sitting on the living room floor in jammies all day with my mom wrapping gifts :) Just to open them a few hours later!! :P

    Again, love the new banner!
