how far along?
how big is the baby?
he weighs about 2.5lbs (according to Baby Center) and measures a little over 15 inches long. his muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger (well, crap) to make room for his developing brain. he is soaking up lots of nutrients, and is taking up to 250 milligrams of calcium per day to strengthen his bones.
total weight gain:
the planets have to be perfectly aligned in order for me to get a good night's sleep. this means I have to get comfortable, Sean can't be snoring, there is no pressure on my bladder, and my mind isn't reeling with all the stuff we have left to do. needless to say, it's rare.
best moment of the week:
passing my glucose test definitely. just like every other screening I have throughout pregnancy, I get a little scared before each one. the only thing notable is that my iron is a little low, so I'll be taking an iron supplement for the rest of the pregnancy. also, our glider was delivered on Saturday - it's PERFECT.
anything and everything, ha!
anything that causes heartburn/reflux. <--- same this week.
typical 3rd trimester ailments - pelvic pain, acid reflux/heartburn, shortness of breath, lower back aches, swollen ankles & feet at the end of the day, sleeplessness. despite all this, I actually feel pretty great most of the time.
on the plus side, this kid is more active than ever lately - he has little baby dance parties in there by himself, and it's SO awesome to experience.
most looking forward to:
getting his nursery together and appointments every 2 weeks (!!!).
what I miss right now:
